Darrel W. Stephens

Darrel Stephens is the Co-Director of the Policing, Security Technology and Private Security Policy Research Instituteat Florida State University’s College of Criminology and Criminal Justice. He is a Senior Advisor for 21CP, an Axon Ambassador and consults on a wide range of police leadership and management issues. He served as the Executive Director of the Major Cities Chiefs Association (MCCA) from October 2010 to October 2017.

A native New Englander, Deputy Chief David Giroux is a 28-year veteran of the Arlington County Police Department.  He is currently assigned as the Commander of the Criminal Investigations Division and the Wellness and Safety Section.  He is also the founder and former commander of the department’s state-accredited Peer Support Team.

Lesliam Quirós-Alcalá, PhD, MSc.

Dr. Quirós-Alcalá is an Assistant Professor at Johns Hopkins University in the Department of Environmental Health and Engineering. As an exposure scientist and environmental epidemiologist, Dr. Quirós-Alcalá conducts translational exposure science research to better understand exposure-response relationships.
