Darrel Stephens is the Co-Director of the Policing, Security Technology and Private Security Policy Research Instituteat Florida State University’s College of Criminology and Criminal Justice. A native New Englander, Deputy Chief David Giroux is a 28-year veteran of the Arlington County Police Department. He is currently assigned as the Commander of the Criminal Investigations Division and the Wellness and Safety Section. He is also the founder and former commander of the department’s state-accredited Peer Support Team.
